I am a 22 year old native from Milwaukee, WI USA. Currently studying engineering at the University of Minnesota, I am pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics (AEM). While not in class or studying, I work for the College of Liberal Arts Webteam (CLAW) as an undergraduate web programmer. In this position I build and maintain web applications built by the team using Ruby on Rails, occasionally utilizing PHP for lightweight tools used throughout the CLAW portfolio.

Personally, I have developed several tools used by many of the new Ruby on Rails applications, including an AJAX person selector and a rails plugin for CSV export/import.

In addition to my studies and my work, I devote a lot of my time to the Univeristy of Minnesota Solar Vehicle Project which just recently completed the North American Solar Challence 2008 with the 8th student built car, Centaurus.

In the Fall of 2008, I will be studying on interning in Sydney, Australia. I’ll be taking classes concerning Pacific Rim Businesses, Australian History, and Business Culture, while performing an internship at a bio-medical company Advanced Surgical Design & Manufacture Limited (ASDM) where I’ll be involved in projects concerning their manufactuing processes.
