Thanks Beth! It was so much fun. To be honest, the plane ride up was probably the worst part. Just thinking “I’m going up in this plane… and I’m going to jump out! Holy crap!”
Really the most dreadful thing was watching Rachael go ahead of me. Watching her roll out of the plane and drop like a rock sent spasms through my stomach. Once you’re in the air and reach terminal velocity you feel normal, no sinking feeling, just the wind in your face. The parachuting was also very peaceful with a gorgeous view of surroundings.
