The water is actually still pretty cold, as we're just coming out of winter here (about 1 week into spring now). A bunch of people bought surf boards and will be surfing a bunch of their time here. I'm not that big into it though. I (and a number of other in the group) will be going to a weekend surf camp a little ways north in November when the waters are warmer. It sounds pretty cool and one of my friends have met with the guys that run it. I will also be scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef come October on my Spring Break. No surfing yet. The water is actually still pretty cold, as we’re just coming out of winter here (about 1 week into spring now).

Good news - I passed my ACT in the 96th percentile and can now officially teach (starting Wed). Though Australian cinema sounds like a cool class, weekend trips sound even better. But if you do take Mondays off, you have to make sure you capitalize on the experience and actually travel! Remember, this is the time to spend your money. Ooo – your life sounds like fun!
